Final cleaning of the product in flat-bottomed silos of the U13-SR.1 type during unloading

Complete unloading of silos on a concrete (flat) basis is a very complex process. It is extremely difficult to completely discharge such a silo. Even after gravity discharge, the storage product remains under the walls. The cleaning conveyor rotates around the geometric axis of the silo and completely covers its bottom in diameter. Moving in a circle, it transports the grain from the periphery to the central discharging hole. This allows unloading up to 99.8% of the silage volume. Why not 100%? Because there are no perfectly flat foundations and there are gaps to conveyor screw.

Depending on the size of the silo, the weight of the grain that needs to be reloaded can interfere with and slow down sweep conveyor. Additional active traction engines, thanks to their own engine, special wheels and counterweight system, make it easier to deepen screw into grain mass. They are used as basic equipment of all conveyors TR.S.4, except for TR.S.4-250.М1, for which these traction engines are used as an option.
