The roof segments are manufactured using Hit & Roll rolling lines. This makes it possible to produce completely identical segments of roof panels with full interchangeability within the same model range of grain storage silos. The increased height of the lock that connects the segments to each other, as well as the modification of its profile, make the silo roof cladding part of the spatial frame, taking on part of the vertical loads. And as a bonus, this design is not subject to the capillary effect – forget about leaks at the roof joints.
As an option, silos manufactured by LUBNYMASH can be equipped with roofs made of GreenCoat® galvanized metal. GreenCoat® is an SSAB brand that combines innovative, environmentally friendly steels with a polymer coating. The polymer layer provides additional protection against mechanical damage, rain, snowfall and airborne impurities. Manufactured using advanced technologies, the layer is resistant to destruction and fading under the influence of solar ultraviolet radiation (protection class RUV4).

HOPPERS
A hopper is a self-unloading silo with a conical bottom for storing grain. The main difference from a conventional grain storage facility is the conical shape of the bottom. Thanks to this, unloading is carried out by gravity, saving time on unloading operations.
The design of a conical bottom silo consists of the following elements:

- conical lower section;
- roof;
- ventilation system;
- mechanisms for grain cooling;
- device for measuring the maximum level;
- hatches.
