Roofing is protection. And the design features of its elements determine how it will cope with its functions. The roofs of LUBNYMASH silos have undergone dramatic changes. The roof segments are manufactured using Hit & Roll rolling lines. This makes it possible to produce completely identical segments of roof panels with full interchangeability within the same model range of grain storage silos. The increased height of the lock that connects the segments to each other, as well as the modification of its profile, make the silo roof cladding part of the spatial frame, taking on part of the vertical loads. And as a bonus, this design is not subject to the capillary effect – forget about leaks at the roof joints.
As an option, silos manufactured by LUBNYMASH can be equipped with roofs made of GreenCoat® galvanized metal. GreenCoat® is an SSAB brand that combines innovative, environmentally friendly steels with a polymer coating. The polymer layer provides additional protection against mechanical damage, rain, snowfall and airborne impurities. Manufactured using advanced technologies, the layer is resistant to destruction and fading under the influence of solar ultraviolet radiation (protection class RUV4).

EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL
The telemetry system, which includes a silo limit load sensor and a set of thermal suspensions with temperature sensors located throughout the silo in 2-meter increments, will provide you with a continuous flow of data on the condition of the stored product. Forget about the possibility of deformation of the roof and cylinder of the grain storage silo by temperature sensors suspended from the roof frame when unloading the silo. A special decoupling system will disconnect the sensor links from the silo roof when the load caused by grain movement or other mechanical impact increases.

For several decades now, the technology of storing grain in silos has been at its peak of popularity. DESIGN OF A FLAT-BOTTOMED SILO TYPE U13-SR.1

One of such silo-type structures presented by LUBNYMASH is a flat-bottomed U13-SR.1 silo. The peculiarity of this silo is the choice of a certain silo diameter and a certain capacity (up to 22 thousand cubic meters). This characteristic allows the buyer to choose the most optimal volume, taking into account all the features of the harvested amount.
The flat-bottomed U13-SR.1 silo is distinguished by its positive aspects:
– quick assembly and installation of the structure;
– the tank is equipped with a system of air ducts and forced ventilation, which guarantee high-quality grain storage;
– the body is made of high quality durable steel, which is a guarantee of long service life of the structure;
– the roof is designed to withstand heavy snow load (up to 180 kg rep square meter);
– the base is a reinforced concrete foundation with a built-in grain unloading system;
– a grain level control system and a temperature control sensor have been developed to record the temperature at a certain level of the tank.
